The S&C Website Audit
Is your website working as hard as you are?
Your website speaks for you when you’re not there. Our audit can help you understand whether your most important communications asset is telling the right story, showing your personality, optimized for search, performing well, and much more.

Why an S&C Audit?
By starting with your goals and your audiences, we go deeper than most tech audits and create a practical roadmap that helps you prioritize the changes that will have the greatest impact.

Who is an audit for?
A website audit is perfect when you’re dealing with one of these common scenarios:
People aren’t coming to your site
You’re not sure if it’s your site, your SEO, or that AI is answering questions and people aren’t clicking through.
You’re seeing performance and user experience issues
The site looks or feels dated, it no longer represents who you have become, and people aren’t converting the way they used to.
You need to get people aligned internally.
Big changes have happened internally and the site has been left behind, or you need to make a business case for a redesign.
You’re not sure what you need.
You want to determine a reasonable budget for a website redesign or you want to write an RFP and need to figure out your requirements.
How does it work?
From kickoff to delivery, the audit typically takes 1 month.
We send you a set of questions to answer about your goals, audiences, and peers. We examine your analytics, get access to your CMS to see how your site is built, and run accessibility and findability checks.
Next we meet with your existing technical team to ask about everything from plugins to governance.
Then we take some time to look at some key pathways: The donor trying to give, the job prospect looking to apply, the board member finding boilerplate copy to paste into an email.
We get together with your team for an hour to explore what’s not in the data. We ask a lot of questions and listen carefully.
Finally, we deliver the findings and set up any followup conversations to discuss where to go next.
What do we get?
You’ll receive an insights report covering the areas below.

Performance and technical health
Your site’s performance also influences findability. Find out what’s affecting site speed, mobile experience, security, and reliability.
Navigation and user pathways
People shouldn’t have to think too hard to find what they’re looking for. Learn if the paths that matter most are really effective.
